Miri Terms of Service
We wrote these terms in plain language. This isn't a document you're meant to sign without reading — it's an agreement between us, and we want you to understand it. It'll take a few minutes.
Who provides Miri?

What is Miri?
Miri is a task management app. It helps you organize everyday matters, suggests priorities, asks questions to better understand your intentions, and proposes actions.
At the heart of Miri are features powered by artificial intelligence — they make the app work the way it does. AI features are an integral part of the service.
Who can use Miri?
Miri is intended for people who are at least 13 years old. If you're under 13, you may not use the app.
By using Miri, you confirm that you're at least 13 — or, if you're a minor, that you have a parent's or guardian's consent.
Your account
You create an account with your phone number. You're responsible for keeping your number current and accessible — it's the only way into your account.
Your account is personal. Don't share it with others.
If you notice that someone unauthorized has access to your account — write to us right away.
Subscription and payments
Miri runs on a subscription model. We make money only on subscriptions — not on your data.
How billing works:
- Payment is charged via the App Store or Google Play at the moment you purchase a subscription.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it before the end of the current period.
- You cancel directly in your App Store or Google Play settings — not through Miri.
Refunds:
The refund policy is set by Apple or Google, depending on the platform where you made the purchase. Miri doesn't process refunds directly. If you have a problem — write to us and we'll try to help.
What you can do in Miri
Miri is at your disposal — you can do whatever you like with it, provided that:
- You use it in accordance with the law.
- You don't try to bypass security measures or interfere with how the app works.
- You don't use it in a way that could harm other users or us.
- You don't feed it automated data at scale (bots, scripts, etc.) without our consent.
Your data and content
What you type into Miri — your tasks, notes, lists — belongs to you. We claim no rights to your content.
You grant us the right to store and process this content solely to the extent necessary for the app to work. Details in the Privacy Policy.
AI features and Google Gemini
Miri uses the Google Gemini API to power its AI features. By using Miri, you accept that your data is processed by Gemini to the extent described in the Privacy Policy.
AI features work based on what you type. AI can make mistakes — treat its suggestions as help, not as decisions.
Collaboration features
Miri lets you share tasks with other people. When you choose to share a task, that specific content becomes visible to the person you share it with. The rest of your data stays private.
You're responsible for what you share with others.
App availability
We do our best to keep Miri running at all times. Sometimes, though, we need to carry out updates or maintenance — the app may be temporarily unavailable then. We'll let you know in advance whenever possible.
We don't guarantee 100% availability.
Changes to these terms
If we need to change these terms, we'll let you know 14 days in advance with an in-app notification. If the changes are minor and don't affect your rights, we may introduce them without prior notice.
The same rules apply to changes in the Privacy Policy.
If you don't accept the changes, you can delete your account before they take effect.
Ending the relationship
Your side: You can delete your account at any time in the app settings. Deleting your account ends the agreement between us. Cancelling the subscription and deleting the account are two separate actions.
Our side: We may suspend or delete an account that violates these terms. In serious cases (e.g., attempted break-ins, spam), we may do so without warning.
Liability
Miri is provided as is. We do everything we can to make it work well — but we're not liable for losses resulting from app unavailability, AI errors, or data loss caused by circumstances beyond our control.
Regardless of the above — if anything goes wrong through our fault, our liability will not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in the last 12 months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the court competent for the registered seat of Dawid Musiał, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
As a consumer, you also have the right to out-of-court dispute resolution — for example through a municipal or district consumer ombudsman or the Trade Inspection. But before you take formal steps: write to us. Most matters can be settled with a conversation.
